TY BAYNTON

A Real CANADIAN COUNTRY BOY

Ty picked up a guitar at 14, by 15 he had written his first song and began performing. Now he performs in venues around Southern Ontario and has refined his writing style which has been influenced by a diverse group of writers including Jeffrey Steele and Rhett Atkins and draws inspiration from a wide range of artists including Robert Johnson, Eric Church, Oasis, and Hank Williams Sr. to name a few. As a prolific songwriter, his lyrics reveal his love of country living, friends, family, and a rocking good time. As a performer, his real pleasure comes from having “the crowd singing back to” him as one of his songs says. Ty is serious about the quality of his music, but never takes himself too seriously.

CHELSEA CRITES

At only 19 years old, the talented country singer Chelsea Crites has already achieved so much. She is currently signed with Shoreline Records and has been the sensation of multiple newspapers from several Canadian cities such as ​Brampton, St. Catharines, Toronto and Guelph and also from Nashville TN in the U.S. , Hamilton Spectator , Guelph Mercury , CBC.ca , HECFI.ca just to name a few . Chelsea is also currently sponsored by Harvey’s, Herbert’s Western Boots, Levy’s Leathers and Long and Mcquades Music. For a girl from the small town of Port Colborne, Ontario, she has been amazing fans from the Niagara region and beyond since she was seven years old. Chelsea dreamed of being a country singer since she was a little girl, and now her dreams are coming true. Spokesperson for Oscar’s Roadhouse Lisette Stauch said the following of Chelsea Crites “She’s this amazing country singer and she’s been all over the place, and now we are thrilled to have her at Oscar’s.” It is Chelsea’s growing reputation from amazing performances that enables venue owners speak so highly of her.​
 

 In 2009 Chelsea was nominated for Niagara Rising Star. She has been gigging weekly with her talented band since 2010. In 2011 Chelsea was showcased throughout Hamilton and the CCMA’s and was the house singer at Tootsies in Nashville TN. She has performed the Tailgate parties (prestigious pre-show concerts at Hamilton’s very own Copps Coliseum) for acts such as Alan Jackson, Johnny Reid, Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town  , Eli Young , Colt Ford and Eric Church. She has also opened for Canada’s own Crystal Shawanda in Chatham Ontario  , She has also opened up for Jason McCoy Canadian Singer/Songwriter on 2 dates of his The Perfect Gift Tour  in Whitby Ontario and a 3rd date at Hamilton Place in Hamilton Ontario ,He has won many awards including the 2001 Male Vocalist of the Year at the Canadian Country Music Awards, 3 SOCAN Song of the Year awards, 19 CCMA nominations and 5 Juno nominations (all for Best Country Male Vocalist). He also won 6 awards at the 2004 Ontario Country Performer and Fan Association awards. In 2006, he was awarded with the Global Artist Award at the CMA Awards in Nashville.

Chelsea has been featured in many festivals and fairs, has appeared on Country radio/Hamilton stations 820 Cham and KX94.7 New Country, radio INDI 101.5, radio CFRZ 98.3 , Knight Rider Radio in Kentucky , Conversations Live with Cyrus Webb based in Mississippi  , In The Country with Dave Woods and appeared on the local television shows The Joe Show and , REMIC tv/Entertainment Extra  & CHCH all in 2012. Chelsea has also appeared in several indie movie roles in 2011/12 and has recently shot her first music video for her single ‘If Your Hearts Not In It.”​
 

Aside from playing exciting shows all over Niagara and beyond, acting and gaining fans, Chelsea has been busy songwriting with musical legends like John Ellison who wrote the hit song ‘Some Kind of Wonderful’. Be sure to watch for her first album appearing in stores February of 2013 through Shoreline Records. Chelsea has been using her talents to help those in need by showcasing for the Autism Fundraiser, Cancer Awareness fundraiser and artist SPCA in 2012 and loves to help where she can. SARAH BOULTON

Sarah Boulton is a seasoned singer/songwriter from the small town of Port Colborne, Ontario. Her love of creating and performing music pushed her to learn an array of instruments and refine her writing, and her latest work will be showcased on an EP set to be released in the summer of 2013. Some of Sarah’s accomplishments include being voted 5th in the Canada-wide songwriting competition called “Indiscover”, and performing in a slot at the Country Music Television festival in 2011 with a former band. She has performed on stages ranging from her hometown, to throughout Ontario, and as far as Nashville, TN. Her influences include artists from many genres, such as rock band Evanescence, pop/contemporary artist Sarah McLachlan, and country group The Band Perry, which gives Sarah’s music a unique sound. She loves to share the stage with friends and family and is often accompanied by one or the other at her gigs.

In 2004 Moyralyn moved to the USA and has sung at venues all around the Great Lakes from Michigan to Niagara Falls, NY. Moyralyn has recorded backup vocals with Ray Power and for Canadian songwriter Frank Dalton http://frankdaltonsongs.com

PAIGE KOPP

Paige is a young singer/songwriter/guitarist from Niagara falls, Ontario. Music has become a major part of her life since a young age. She started playing guitar when she was 9.  Paige will be releasing her first EP this summer at the age of 14. She has many inspirations and influences in the music scene and she plays a wide range of rock music. She has played at many different venues which include local bars, taverns, restaurants and cafes.  She has also played at many charity events and festivals, a few include The Mount Carmel fine art & music festival, Niagara nights of arts & music and Biketoberfest in Fenwick,Ontario.

Our registration and starting location is the Beautiful Country Heritage Park and Museum at 8560 Tremaine Rd. Milton, Ontario.

Ride your bike directly onto the site. Get signed in and have a coffee on us while you check out your ride and wait for others to arrive.

When you return, you and your friends will have full access to this incredible and educational museum and park. Explore the many 18th. and early 19th. century restored buildings. See how our ancestors lived, travelled and how they worked with what we would consider ancient tools and impliments.

Visit the Carriage Building and see various types of vintage horse drawn carraiges, wagons, buggies and sleighs on display.

Check out the Nassagaweya One Room School House built in 1886.

Stroll through the many historic buildings and barns to see the displays of 1800's Steam and early Gasoline engines. Rare and Vintage Tractors are also on display. Stop by the 19th century Blacksmith shop then visit the steam powered shingle shop.
